SureHire explains Normal Result

A normal result in a drug screening describes the potential outcome wherein no drugs, whether illicit or otherwise, have been detected in the worker's body. This result excludes any drugs that are normally taken as prescribed by a physician. The normal result is dependent upon the fact that said drugs are appropriate and permissible for use in the workplace as specifically mandated by the employer in question or federal law. It is imperative for employers to ensure that workers to understand which medications (over the counter or prescribed) are allowed or forbidden in specific work places and job duties due to safety reasons.
